Hello prospective students! My name is Philip Schniedermeier, and I'm originally from Chicago. I was born and raised there and studied university in Chicago as well. I graduated in 2012 with degrees in biology and history. Afterwards, I started teaching ACT/SAT prep courses for a few private langaue schools in Chicago until 2014, when I moved to Prague.

After I completed my Erasmus Program in Graz, Austria, I knew I wanted to move to Europe to live and work. I felt Prague was the perfect destination because I was able to continue teaching here as well as live in an amazing, beautiful city. I've been here teaching English as well as sciences and SAT prep since then.
I hope we have the opportunity to work together, so I can help you to achieve your language goals!

What I Like About The Czech Republic:

There are many things I like about the Czech Republic. First and foremost is the great people I've met and friends I've made from around the world. Prague has an amazing expat community, and I really enjoy speaking with people from all parts of the world  and hearing about what their life and experiences have been like. I also really appreicate all of the amazing students I've had, hearing about them and their backgrounds as well through mutually fun and enjoyable lessons.

I also really enjoy the Czech culture and people. I believe it is a very free Prague and relaxed city which leads to a great quality of life. The location of the Czech Republic is great as well, being 4-6 hours away from so many amazing cities and countries. I really appreciate discovering what the Czech Republic has to offer as well. I've seen some of the most beautiful nature here from the Prachov Rocks to hiking around Hrensko. I look forward to discovering more of this beautiful country.

Hobbies And Interests:

I played baskebtall at North Park Univeristy Chicago for five years and still enjoy playing as much as I can. I have also trained Jiu Jiitsu for six years and is currently my most active sport. Aside from sports, I enjoy reading lots of sci fi and historical fiction books (one advantage of taking the public transport all day). I also very much enjoy traveling to new cities and countries, both around the Czech Republic and outside of it.
